Through some of the photos I relived my Camp Hagan Days. I think I went
1949-1953. These were some of my happiest childhood days. Went from 2 weeks to 4 weeks to 8 weeks. I was able to get a blue tie and white tie and my last year got on the honor council. I was offered a CIT position but needed to work that summer.
As someone else mentioned their parents wanted the family to go to Europe and they went to camp. That was my same situation. My parents went to Europe and I went to Camp Hagan.
After HS I went to nursing school and upon graduation worked as a camp nurse several times In Maine and North Carolina.
2 of my three children went to camp and I do not believe they enjoyed it as much as I did at Camp Hagan. Carol Smith Nasca currently living in Wilmington, North Carolina
